A quick and functional post from me as the Boden sale has just gone live. A lot of the reductions seem a bit mean after all the recent discounts so it might be worth playing chicken with some of these items if they’re showing good stock levels to see if they go down further over the next couple of weeks. Anyway I had a good look through the site last night before it started so that I wasn’t distracted by the discounts and I picked out the items that I think are great additions to any chic core wardrobe.I then noticed a couple of good bargains in the M&S Autograph range so I’ve added them too. I’m not going to talk any more because I want to get this live for you before the sites get busy and things start to sell out. So here we go, great Boden sale buys.
These tops are great date night / special occasion tops to have in your wardrobes for wearing with coated or leather jeans and heels. The sort of thing that you’re grateful to have when you feel like you have nothing to wear.
I have this one and I wear it for work too but the stock is low
I have a selection of these in different colours. I haven’t bought any this year but they’re always good sale buys.
Now these shoes sold out instantly in the summer and it’s actually summer I’m thinking about. Buy them now at 50% off and put them away for the first sunny day.
Again a classic staple for adding a bit of flair to a simple jeans outfit.
I love these boots, great colour and the reviews are good plus they’re more practical than suede for damp winter days
Well cut smart trousers for work, similar to the Jigsaw Paris fit ones that I wear but, in the sale, these are a better price. Looking at the reviews you need to order a couple of lengths and sizes to get the right fit but if you do, they’ll be a great everyday work solution.
A quick detour to M&S – there has been a new delivery of these cashmere jumpers that have been sold out all season which means M&S have had to put them straight into the sale. A great buy.
And finally I love this coat for its Parisian chic. It would look as good with jeans as it would with smarted workwear. If I didn’t already have almost the same coat in plain navy I would buy it (in fact I still might, it’s very tempting).
And that’s it for now. I didn’t allow myself to be distracted by anything else because I’m trying not to make any silly sales purchases this year. I have too many things like the pink shoes I bought in the last Boden sale that are lovely but which I don’t wear very often so I’m focusing on wardrobe work horses as I said in my last post. I hope this approach helps and just to repeat the sale mantra again, ask yourself ‘do I need it, can I afford it?’
Happy weekend everyone.
